LOADED!! We have the Marti Report that verifies how rare this car is and all the options it was born with. How about this is 1 of only 80 made with cruise control. Even more rare it is 1 of only 15 made in these colors!

EXTERIOR: Exceptionally clean body. Its straight and fits right. No rust, bubbles, or damage. It has the Sprint package which includes the louvered hood with working turn signals. 1 of only 247 Pebble Beige convertibles made total. The paint is smooth and glossy. Only minor imperfections if you look for them. The jambs are really clean. The chrome and trim are overall straight and shiny. Reproduction 14x7 Magnum wheels and radial redline tires. It has a power top in excellent shape. It's black and has optional glass rear window.

INTERIOR: 1 of only 15 made total with this interior color and the beige paint. Loaded with options! It is a deluxe interior which includes upholstered seat backs and woodgrain trim. Door panels are very good originals. The console is in very nice shape, the light in the "garage door" works. It has an extremely rare convenience control panel which is the warning lights in the console. (I found a set of just the 4 lenses for $2,000 on eBay!) The instrument area is very clean. It still has its original 8-track radio. It has a swing away tilt wheel The seats are reupholstered and have rare headrests. It also has deluxe seat belts. It also has the visibility group which includes a remote mirror and a light package. Overall, very nice shape.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is very clean and looks completely stock and complete. The vin # match original 289 runs smooth. We pulled the motor and replaced the rings and gaskets. It has stock manifolds, valve covers and air cleaner. Everything is there: the heat riser tube, washer bottle, vacuum lines, heater control valve etc. It features factory air conditioning, power steering, power brakes and cruise control. Only 80 were made with cruise, 1st one I've ever seen! All the components look clean. The metal surfaces are painted nicely. It still has its original buck tag which gives options and colors.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has a remote release inside that opens the trunk. Under the trunk lid is very nice original paint and original weatherstrip. The jamb and inside has nice beige paint. The light works. It has a clean spare and jack assembly. New plaid mat.

UNDERSIDE: It appears to be rock solid. Original rust-free floors, frame rails and torque boxes. It seems to be well maintained mechanically. The steering and suspension components are clean. It has a nice sounding dual exhaust system. Mufflers and tailpipes are new. The fuel tank and sending unit has been replaced. It has disc brakes in the front, the e-brake assembly is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it is very clean, fuel pump looks new, starter's fresh. It has its original C4 automatic trans, it also appears to be very clean. It has its original tag still attached. It also has the tag still attached to the original rear end. It’s a 3.00 ratio with an optional posi.

SERVICE: We inspected the car and we pulled the engine, installed new rings, spark plugs and gaskets. We repaired the shifter, replaced transmission modulator, lubed the front end, repaired caliper shields and swaybar bushings and lubed rear window tracks.

This is a very rare, documented Mustang. I believe it has lived a good life, it is a smooth straight car.
