The Livingstone’s Fruit Bats are a critically endangered species from the Comoros Islands. There is an estimate population of around 1,300 of these bats left in the wild and only just over 100 in captivity.
These bats are part of a breeding programme here at the Zoo and as part of #batappreciationweek we wanted to bring you 2 minutes of what the world looks and sounds like to be a bat.
