Re-uploading since the last one had some sound issues
I get these comments a lot:
“Where do you find these pretty kittens?”
“You always get such cute babies.”
The truth is, I don’t find pretty kittens. Most of them arrive sick, hairless, or covered in mess. But I know there are beautiful kittens hiding underneath the filth — and big, hopeful eyes behind the discharge.
Most people only see the end result of fostering. So I thought it would be a good reminder to show where these kittens actually begin.
It’s only through TLC — good nutrition, the right medication, safe shelter, and patient socialization — that orphaned kittens grow into the happy, healthy babies they were meant to be. #WhyWeFoster
