After my first install video of the Armorlite Mesa Smoke Floor Liner System, Armorlite has been using that to help answer their other customers questions with the difficulties they have been having with their installations. They appreciated the detail I covered so they reached out and asked if I would be interested in providing another First Look and Install Video of their new Desert Khaki Full Kit for the Jeep JKU!

I had the Mesa Smoke Liner installed for a little over a month and in my last video I covered the cleaning, removal, and identified any leak paths for water to get in between the liner and the floor pan. Now it is time to install the new Desert Khaki Floor Liner!

This time through Armorlite requested that I cover some of the pain points for the install in a little more detail so keep an eye out for those! I also took a little bit of a different approach showing how to remove the trim panels, the lower B-Pillar trim and the door sill trim, to make the install much easier! I also reversed the process of installing the rear seat floor liner, starting with under the front seats and cup holder before working it under the rear seats. This made the install much easier too! If you are considering purchasing the Armorlite Floor System for your JKU I definitely recommend trying this process!

At this point I have had the Desert Khaki Floor System installed for about 2 weeks now and I have take Vector off-road twice and I am loving this new Desert Khaki color! the contrast is great, the floor liner appears cleaner to the eye from any staining from dirt, and there have been some improvements to help with the install.

If you are a Jeep JL or JT owner keep an eye out, Armorlite should be releasing those kits in the near future! Also you JK owners the full kit is coming out soon as well!
