ProtoPixel is an innovative plug & play solution that leverages micro-controller and interaction design knowledge to bridge the current creative and engineering gap that exists between media creation and lighting control. It allows to create any type of lighting surface (from large-scale media facades to immersive environments) with most commercially available fixtures (i.e. LEDs strips, rings, matrices, etc.) and display media content that can be controlled in real time with mobile phones, motion and wearable sensors, cameras, data from the Internet, you name it.
With ProtoPixel, designers can create highly expressive online and offline content without the need of specific technical skills. At the same time, lighting engineers and programmers will also find it compatible with current technical standards, making ProtoPixel a perfect fit for existing media and lighting setting.
