Описание: This is a video I took on an Android phone while I made a repair. This short tutorial shows how to replace the variable valve timing Solenoid on the 1UZ engine. They are in Lexus GS and SC series, as well as other Toyota vehicles. The symptoms are: shaky idle, misfiring, VSC OFF, VSC, CEL lights on, shaking stops once moving, vehicle attempts to die when returning to a stop. Causes a P1346 or P1349 depending on which sensor fails. The Lexus engine management system turns off traction control, or VSC, when a fault in this system occurs. Thus, you'd VSC and VSC OFF lights will be on. The video cuts when my phone died as I reconnected the sensor and closed the hood. Enjoy.
