3 years of apprenticeship combining 2,100 hours of theoretical class at a vocational school with practical training - 2,500 hours working in a hospital or nursing home, learning their profession under real-life conditions. Trainee nurses are paid in monthly allowance between 1,100 and 1,300 euros.
