Описание: This beautiful Blanding’s turtle was admitted after being hit by a car when she was crossing the road. At admission, rehabbers realized that she had recently laid eggs! This is exciting because Blanding’s Turtles are a species of special concern in Wisconsin. Fortunately, the shell fracture was minor and easily repairable. After a few days of monitoring, the turtle was released back to her home lake. As you see in the video, she was thrilled to be home!
