anchovies – very small salty fish used in dressings
🍽️ Restaurant English You'll Hear Every Time You Eat Out:
start you off – begin with your first order (usually drinks)
comes with a side – includes a small dish with the main food
swap out – replace one item with something different
no extra charge – no additional cost for the change
on the side – served separately from the main dish
send it back – return food because something is wrong
fire a new one – start cooking a fresh replacement
on the house – free, paid by the restaurant
make it to order – prepared fresh only when someone orders it
refill – filling your glass again
the check – the bill showing how much you owe
