Hermann Einsele, MD, FRCP, University of Würzburg, Würzburg, Germany, comments on the significant advancements in CAR-T cell therapy for multiple myeloma, highlighting the impressive results of the CARTITUDE-1 trial (NCT03548207). Prof. Einsele notes that ciltacabtagene autoleucel (cilta-cel) is now being trialed in earlier lines of therapy (CARTITUDE-4: NCT041819827, CARTITUDE-6: NCT05257083), and in addition to bispecific antibodies (aMMbition: NCT06577025). This interview took place at the 22nd International Myeloma Society (IMS) Annual Meeting in Toronto, Canada.
