Описание: The Shires Model AF Bb Trumpet is a popular horn with a slight variation on the Classic Model A featuring a square bell bend with a traditional side seam as well as a French bead wire and S.E. Shires maker’s mark and beautiful floral engraving. All of these characteristics give the sound an added complexity, cushions the blow and greatly impacts the way the instrument projects and the way the sound is produced.

The Shires Model AF Bb Trumpet is constructed with a .459” medium large bore and features a one-piece hand hammered yellow brass bell with a traditionally braised side seam and French bead wire. The placement of the seam and bead wire offer a more resonant and compact sound while also offering beauty and clarity to the projection.

The Shires Model AF Bb Trumpet features a WO5 leadpipe that is efficient with a very easy and immediate response. Paired with the popular W tuning slide which is a yellow brass dual radius bended tuning slide. Nickel balusters and valve bottom caps contribute to the character and strong core of the sound, while metal valve guides inside the pistons add clarity and immediacy to the front end of the articulation.
