What happens to an individual’s bone marrow when he or she needs a joint replacement? Per Dr. Wallach, BS, DVM, Post Doc (Pathology), ND, your bone marrow does about 100 different things for your body. It makes blood cells, stem cells and antibodies. What is your bone marrow composed of? How does blood get in and out of the bones if the blood is made in the bone marrow? Dr. Wallach shares how dynamic the body really is. And what we can do to support bone health to avoid needing replacement. When you have a joint replacement, you lose a big chunk of your bone marrow in the process.
