इस कहानी में बताया गया है कि गरीब पर ठंड का कर कितना भयानक है और इस कहानी में आपको देखने को मिलेगा एक गरीब परिवार जो अपना घर चलाने के लिए सेठ के होटल पर काम करता है और वह सेट कितना ही ज्यादा कंजूस रहता है और वह गरीब पर क्याबिताती है
जब एक गरीब में बीमारी का संकट आ जाता है तब भगवान किस तरह से नया रास्ताखोलते हैं और इस कहानी में जब गरीब का पैर टूटजाता है तो देखी उसकी पत्नी कैसे बुरे वक्त में हौसला बढ़ती है और कितना अच्छा निर्णयलेती है जिससे कि हमें सीख मिलती है कि कितना भी बुरा वक्त है लेकिन हमें घबराना नहीं है
