A Beginners Guide: Graphics Card Drivers - How to Uninstall Old Drivers & Install New Drivers

Once you've got your shiny new GPU installed there's one last thing you need to do to be able to take full advantage of that beautiful new piece of hardware and that is to install the drivers. Now you may be wondering what are drivers? We'll they're basically the instructions your computer needs so that it knows what all that new hardware is capable of doing as well as how to use it. Back in December of 2015 I posted "A Beginners Guide" video on the actual process of installing a graphics cards in your computer and since that time the most common question I'm asked is about driver installation and how to uninstall drivers. For example, if you're upgrading from one Nvidia Geforce GTX video card to another Nvidia card or from an AMD Radeon card to another AMD card do I need to uninstall the drivers before swapping out the cards? How do I uninstall my existing drivers if I'm switching from AMD to Nvidia or vice versa? In this video I cover these common questions and do a full walk-thru on how to uninstall your existing video drivers and install the latest drivers for your new GPU so you can get the best possible performance out of your new computer hardware.
