O God our help in ages past!!!
Life is marked by times and seasons, not by calendar as it is known today. Our calendar helps us in organisation, but it is not the program that God runs.
However, it puts our heart in perspective of where we were coming from and raises our expectation of where we are going.
Therefore, the beginning of the year and the end of it, are of significance to time and season.
As we gather to bless God for His faithfulness at the end of another year, it is also a time to reflect on seasons that have gone by in our lives.
