#59 A Slow Week in Rural France 🇫🇷 Crafts, Gardening & Everyday Life

Описание: This week we’re sharing a week in the life in rural France, slowing down and living everyday life in the French countryside as we care for this old French house and enjoy the quieter rhythms of rural living.

Lavinia spends time crafting and gardening, while I tackle a mix of small but satisfying jobs — snow foaming and washing the car, cutting back over 50-year-old ivy, changing the gas bottle on the caravan, and building what might be a log-chopping horse… or a goat… or possibly a shrew.

There’s no big sit-down chat this week, but we do stop for a coffee and take a moment to enjoy the slower pace of life. This is slow living in the French countryside — simple, practical, and unhurried.

Cette semaine, on ralentit vraiment et on profite de la vie quotidienne ici, dans la campagne française, dans la Creuse.

Lavinia fait des activités manuelles et du jardinage, pendant que je m’occupe de petits travaux : laver la voiture à la mousse, couper du lierre vieux de plus de 50 ans, changer la bouteille de gaz de la caravane, et construire une sorte de cheval à bûches… ou une chèvre… ou peut-être une musaraigne.

Pas de grande discussion cette semaine, mais on prend le temps de s’arrêter pour un café et de savourer le calme.

C’est ça, la vraie vie à la campagne en France — simple, utile et paisible.
