So yeah, today we’re doing something special. Since it’s August 2025—30 years since the launch of Windows 95 - we’re taking it for a spin on modern hardware. Because why not mix brand-new hardware with 30-year-old software: Windows 95A. By the way, the 'A' stands for the initial release from August 1995 (although I think the copy I used is actually from February 1996).

In this video, I’m also taking a closer look at the StarTech PEX2PCI4 PCIe-to-PCI enclosure, which adds 4 classic PCI slots to any modern system with a PCIe slot.
