Ten years after their formation, Turpentine Valley sounds darker, more mature, and more determined than ever. On their third album Veuel (2026) the trio remains uncompromising, delivering instrumental post-metal that shifts from crushing and massive heaviness to sweeping melodies and simmering melancholy. The music tells a story, open to personal interpretation for those willing to engage. Following Etch (2019) – with three tracks featured in the Netflix courtroom drama The Twelve – and Alder (2022), Veuel (2026) sees the band pushing the boundaries of their genre with renewed hunger and intention. And it does so hard, captivating, and relentless.
