Danza Catartica returns for its first party of 2026 with an exciting collaboration with Burning Bush HiFi.
A veteran of the sound system culture, Gav has dedicated time and passion to build his very own sound system, which will power the sound of the night. Expect a wide range of curated heavy bass, dub, and techno provided by some of the most dedicated event organisers in Aberdeen.
For the first party of the year, Danza Catartica welcomes Gav and kidProquo, two pioneers of the local scene. They will be ready to deliver the best of their selection and wide musical knowledge that they have build through decades of having been around the scene. Expect all things Jungle, Drum and Bass, Dub and Reggae.
Danza Catartica is also excited to welcome the first time Flipside, a Glasgow based duo, who are very dedicated to keeping their local music scene thriving. They have delivered some of the best parties in Scotland, having hosted artists such as Stone Taro, Identified Patient, and Laksa.
Cornetta, the head and founder behind Danza Catartica, will bring her vinyl collection for a bass driven set, with a selection that spans across Techno, Bass and Jungle and anything experimental or in between genre boundaries.
We are very much looking forward to bringing to The Tunnels four hours of heavy bass tunes powered by the warmth of an analogue sound system, which carries a heavy heritage and significance to our local scene.
Please make sure you come from the very start and stay until the end, if you can. This will really help the atmosphere to build up and create the party in togetherness.
We request attendees to be respectful towards each other, the organisers, the artists, and the people at the door. Please, if you are a newcomer, come with an open mind about the music. It's okay to listen to new things and make your judgement whether it is for you or not, but please keep your requests for Alexa in your living room.
