~*~Dance of the Feminine™~*~
...is poetry of the body expressed in ancient meaningful gestures. It is a symphony of moving pictures and framed poses, a revelation of the deep soul through the Sacred Feminine Arts.

Dance is a language that reunites the body, mind, heart, and soul. Through dance we experience a different dimension and merge with the greater dance of the Universe. Mother Nature is the direct expression of the Divine Creation, all sacred geometry to be found in her vastness- the perfect patterns of the universe.
In our circle of sisters we weave mystical practices, wisdom teachings and sacred dance traditions in accordance with our true feminine nature.

We move in our own lunar rhythms and connect with our naturally arising instinctual wisdom, insight, vitality and joy. We apply the sacred symbology of undulations, waves, spirals, circles and infinity loops, linking in with with the beginning point: the 'bindu'- navel of the universe. We conjure up and harmonize energies of earth, air, fire and water in our own beings. Our Higher Selves serve as our *Guiding Stars*.

We journey through the sacred dances of India through to Persia, Turkey and North Africa via visual presentation as well as dance .
Some of these dances are Indian Odissi Temple Dance, Central Asian Circle dances, Ecstatic Sufi Whirling, Egyptian Ritual Dance and Tuareg Guedra. Via movement medicine from the ancient to the modern, breath work, poetry, structured and free-style dance, whirling, chanting and meditation, we embody sacred teachings from time immemorial, thereby healing ourselves and coming into wholeness.

​Through going deep into our heart/womb spaces, we tap into the source of true feminine power, intuition, creativity, healing and nurture; hence we draw from our deepest mysteries, as within so without. It is the embodiment of Spirit through our dance that leads to self-knowledge, surrendering to the unknown and creating the limitless. Together we experience Divinity in our body temples and dance our prayers, activating a cascade of higher aligned creation out into the world.

Schirin places emphasis on a safe learning environment with a solid technical foundation as well as a holistic experience for women in which they can feel strengthened in their Individual femininity, creativity, sensuality, joy, grace, power and a sense of communal togetherness. Schirin offers group classes, workshops, multiple-day intensives and privates. The level of intensity is relative to the group's/individual's ability.

Dance, Yoga, Mystical Arts & Medicine of the Feminine

​... serves as a sacred space for women to “come home” to themselves, together. It encourages women to recognize their truest Essence and to see one another in their Essence.​This feminine essence is spacious, limitless in its possibilities, listening, all seeing, compassionate, love in all its expressions, protective, sovereign, sensual, life affirming, creative, spiral shaped, nature loving. It finds true expression in each woman's identity, in all shapes, sizes, ages, from all walks of life.

It is more important than ever. We are experiencing a time of Feminine Awakening in which the voices of our hearts and souls finally can be heard again. The aligned Feminine is unfolding in loving, heartfelt, expansive ways. We are called to remember that all beings are sacred and spiritually sovereign. Divinity is manifest in Nature, our first and ultimate Temple where wild wisdom teachings await us anytime we give of ourselves.

The path of the Feminine Mystic in our modern times and cultures can only be revealed through experience, personal and collective. Women carve the way for one another through embodied practice. This process is desperately needed by all, as there is a connection between the women’s healing and the healing of humanity and the Earth. Individual work through direct transmission or with the support of a guide has always been crucial to the cultivation of true power. This has its place, however, and together we are stronger. Communities can re-join forces for the Greater Good and bond with one another. Then, women with their instinctual wisdom can reclaim their places as guides and leaders in their cultures.

I use dance and movement to spark this process. ​Originally, dance served as prayer, in rituals honoring the life cycles and its rites of passages. These rituals can still nurture a sense of inclusivity and community, creating deep connections.

Women from all walks of life are welcome in this sacred, safe space. Together we reconnect with the deep blood wisdom of womb cycles throughout the whole of a woman’s life, from pre-menarche to post-menopause, as we heed maiden, mother, and crone wisdom.
