In this video you can drive along on Autobahn A96 E43 from Memmingen to Lindau on the border with Austria. The A96 is an Autobahn in the South of Germany, connecting the metropolitan area of Munich with the Bodensee area and Austria / Switzerland.
Memmingen is about halfway the A96, where the Autobahn meets the A7, Germany's longest Autobahn. The A96 is one of quite a few Autobahns that reach the Austrian border, although this is the most Western crossing at Lindau / Bregenz.
Towards the end of the video you can see the foothills of the Alps come up in the background. In a future video we will venture beyond the border, where the Austrian A14 takes over.
