The display - though not curved - looks great. It has a 5.5-inch diagonal and a QHD resolution, but the main thing is that it was made in the newly developed LCD Quantum technology. It provides 20 percent greater color reproduction, 25 percent improvement in brightness and 50 percent greater contrast. Sounds great, hopefully the image makes the same impression as numbers.

The heart of LG G4 is a six-core, 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor. It consists of two cores Cortex-A57 and four cores Cortex-A53, and all that supports 3 GB of RAM. In addition, the phone has a Graphic memory (videoRAM), providing energy savings when viewing a static image. The internal memory is 32 GB and there is also a slot for a microSD card.

It's worth noting the 16-megapixel camera. It is equipped with a dual LED flash and a laser autofocus. The location of these items is identical to last year's G3. But it received a lighter camera lens (f1.8), increased matrix (1/2.6") and the new interface. It also has a more perfect, three-axis optical stabilization and can save RAW files. The advanced camera in the LG G4 is complemented by Color Spectrum Sensor (CSS), the first feature of its kind to find its way into a smartphone. CSS improves color accuracy by precisely reading the RGB values of the ambient light in a scene, as well as the infrared light reflected from objects. CSS uses this information to adjust the camera’s white balance and flash color to create images that are as close to what one would see with the naked eye. With Color Spectrum Sensor, no longer will reds appear as bright orange or whites as dull yellow.

During the presentation there was devoted a lot of time to the new UI, UX 4.0, which debuts with LG G4. It was simplified - reduced the number of steps needed to configure or enable the function, so that the service is faster. There was improved Smart Bulletin which collects relevant information from different applications and displays them on one screen, and Smart Notice analyzes the plan of a day and a schedule of travel, combining this information with the user's habits. The new calendar can be controlled with gestures, so there was reduced the need to use the keyboard.
