My favorite trainee ever is Willie Pep, an American Bully I just trained for a rescue. He's coming back because his owners didn't follow some very basic common sense rules with him and their other dog.
Integrating two dogs-let alone two male pitbulls-is a methodical process that takes time, but it basically amounts to disciplined adherence to common sense. You don't just plug them in and 'let them figure it out'.
I blame myself for this because I let him go out without doing a workshop with the owners. No more. People need careful, deliberate instruction when it comes to dogs, because the general public's ignorance about canines is truly staggering. That's the last time I make this fucking mistake....
