FULL SPEECH: Erdogan Condemns ‘Israeli State Terrorism’ in Gaza, Israeli Delegation Walks Out at UN!

Описание: The Israeli delegation left the hall on Tuesday as Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, during which he condemned what he described as terrorism perpetrated by the Israeli state in Gaza and called for the swift reconstruction of the Strip. Erdogan painted a stark picture of conditions in Gaza, describing it as not only the world's largest children's graveyard but also the region with the highest rate of child amputations in the world, and further characterised Gaza as a concentration camp while detailing the scale of human suffering there. The Turkish president stated that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's inability to attend the General Assembly in person for a second consecutive year wounds the conscience, and vowed that Turkey would continue to defend the Palestinian cause on the international stage. Erdogan urged that reconstruction efforts in Gaza begin without wasting any more time, called for greater international pressure on Israel, and declared that attempts to stifle the establishment of a Palestinian state are doomed to failure.
