Mayon Volcano Eruption Update; A Large Lava Flow Continues to Advance

Описание: A 1.5 mile long lava flow is continuing to expand outwards from Mayon's summit, being funneled in two directions. This andesite lava is currently advancing at a rate of approximately 140 meters a day in the Mi-isi drainage, and there is a legitimate concern that it might eventually flow beyond the current 6 kilometer exclusion zone. This video discusses this possibility and the current state of Mayon's eruption which is now in its 18th day.

A special thanks to: sylvel.ultimate.catl0ver, Jedd. N., and Samuel Lau for granting me permission to use video clips and images they took of Mayon erupting (which were taken from a safe distance)!

A special thanks to the Extreme Pursuit YouTube channel for granting me permission to use clips of his footage!
