This prep has been far from easy it’s had its moments, its stresses, and its lessons.
Just a few weeks out, I was running my own strongman competition, balancing the chaos of organising while still trying to stay focused on my own training.
Then, weeks before stepping onto the comp, I ended up ill and to top it off, my deadlift suit didn’t turn up on time…
It wasn’t the smoothest road to comp day, but that’s the reality of the sport.
