Overview
The Modified Rom here is a multiperson disassembly modification of the original Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Mega Drive, developed by Team Megamix.
What started out with solely just Sonic as the only playable character eventually grew with three different characters, then eventually grew to feature the ability to play as one of five different characters: Sonic the Hedgehog, Mighty the Armadillo, Shadow the Hedgehog, Miles "Tails" Prower, and Knuckles the Echidna. It is an extensive reworking of the original game, featuring new art, music, abilities, layouts, and other things.

Few things to keep in mind here:
• All versions here are showcasing the first and last zones, including the final zone.
• This is solely on the original Megamix. Megamix Mania is not included, at least for now I'm not including it only because the project is still in the works, but once the final release does happen, I'll definitely include that in an updated showcase.
