-Randy Shandobil in the air from a helicopter reporting on a fire in the Marina area of SF, Leslie Griffith on the scene with the rescue effort attempting to pull survivors out.
-Briefs on minor damage to Candlestick Park, the upper deck of the Bay Bridge collapse, and BART station closures. Also has Dennis & Elaine talking about their own scary experiences in the newsroom when the quake hit, along with weatherman Pat McCormick.

-Story of an Oakland residential building for seniors damaged in the quake, and future quake investigations placing it around now!
-John Fowler later that night about the attempt to rescue a Caltrans worker who was badly injured in the Cypress freeway.
