The application temperature for thermoplastic hot mix used for road marking typically ranges between 180°C and 220°C. This temperature range ensures the material fully melts into a homogeneous fluid, allowing for proper application and a strong bond with the road surface.

The "white powder glas" applied on thermoplastic hot-mix (asphalt or road marking material) is likely fine glass powder/dust or glass beads which are applied in conjunction with other white powder fillers like calcium carbonate or hydrated lime. When a car's headlights hit the road markings, these tiny glass beads (also called microspheres) act as tiny lenses or mirrors, reflecting the light directly back to the driver's eyes.
