The Ancient Sword Graveyard ~ The Legend of Zelda: Illusory Moonlight

Описание: The hero arrives to find the path to the ancient graveyard now suspiciously open. At the entrance a statue can be seen with the same off-putting melody found in the stargazer's notebook. Thinking that the stargazer must have already gone ahead the hero enters the graveyard.

The Ancient Sword Graveyard stretches across a windswept coast where a legendary battle once ended an invasion. At one end stands a weathered memorial and rows of graves, their stones softened by time and sea air. Beyond them lies the battlefield, where rusted swords and spears still pierce the earth like iron headstones, the ground forever scarred by the clash of armies. At the far edge, the field meets a sheer cliff overlooking the ocean, where the last defenders drove their enemies to their doom—its crashing waves and whispering winds said to carry the echoes of that final stand.

After exploring the area, our hero stumbles across a single crypt that stands out among all of the others. A small campsite sits right outside the entrance, clearly marking the stargazers presence here, but he was still nowhere to be found. Having no other choice the hero descends into the crypt.

So… is this a ROM hack? Not quite.

Illusory Moonlight is a fan-made soundtrack for a game that doesn’t exist — a passion project and heartfelt tribute to the music of the N64 era Zelda games. Every track was composed using the Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask soundfonts to give it an authentic feel, but I try to include many different references from throughout the series.

The soundtrack is paired with an original story following an unnamed hero who journeys between two worlds to face a mysterious darkness known only as the Void. Each video unveils a new chapter of the story that you can find in the video description.
