Twin Peaks: 25 Years Later (Mairzy Doats)

David Lynch and Mark Frost's Twin Peaks is unlike any other TV series and has had a dramatic impact on the current generation of modern TV showrunners. Because of Twin Peaks, many more began taking risks to make better quality television on a more cinematic scale.

Twenty-five years after its initial run, Twin Peaks has helped shape the new golden age of television. It is one of the most uniquely powerful works of art ever made for the medium and stands the test of time as few TV shows ever can.

In celebration of the announcement that Twin Peaks will return to television on Showtime in the Summer of 2016, I have created a series of teaser trailers and tributes. I hope to excite fans of the show and reach out to new potential viewers who can easily catch up on the original run of Twin Peaks on Netflix, iTunes, Video on Demand, DVD, or Blu-Ray.

These videos also act as my portfolio, of sorts. If my own unofficial efforts happen to catch the eye of anyone involved in the production of the new episodes, then I would be interested in joining the team in any capacity.

But whatever may occur professionally, Twin Peaks is my favorite show ever aired on television. I am excited to celebrate its long anticipated return with the many other fans the show has earned itself over the past quarter of a century, who have all been as profoundly impacted by the show as I was and I continue to be on every series re-watch.
