The Spice Girls turned out at London's Albert Hall for a worthy cause: they were
asking their millions of British fans to buy poppies in the run-up to Remembrance Sunday, 9 November. The poppy charity annually raises funds to help old soldiers and their families. The Spice Girls posed with a singing star from a different age. Vera Lynn was the original War Spice and was the "Force's sweetheart" during the Second World War.
