All roads seem to lead to this: the electron transport chain! Called this because it moves electrons to make ATP! In this video, we discuss the physiology behind the ETC, as well as what can go wrong. There are many pathologies that deal with disturbances of the ETC. These include:
Hypoxia
Mitochondrial disorders
Uncoupling agents
Inhibitors of ETC
