SWS Packaging recently installed ten brand new Wulftec WRTA-200 automatic rotary arm stretch wrappers for a customer in the Bronx. These machines run at 30 RPM and feature 30 inch film carriages that maximize the coverage of a pallet.
Each safety cell encloses two machines in heavy duty fencing with high speed automatic doors that close when the wrap cycle is engaged.
Since the Wulftec WRTA line are rotary arm stretch wrappers that utilize the existing floor space as the wrap zone, this customer is able to wrap in a "drop and go" work flow where a rider jack can quickly place two pallets within the safety cell, safely engage the wrap cycle from outside the safety fencing and then proceed to another task while the wrappers complete their cycle.
