Sour cream and onion pork chops
6 boneless pork chops
Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste
1 pint sour cream
1 container French fried onions
Preheat oven to 375F
Place chops in greased 11x13 glass baking dish and season both sides with salt, pepper and garlic powder
Spread the sour cream evenly on one side of each pork chop
Cover evenly with the French fried onions
Cover with foil and bake 40-45 min until the pork chops are tender
Thicker pork chops may need a full hour to cook
The sour cream will look thicker and the French fried onions will soften a little
This is delicious with mashed potatoes, au gratin potatoes or even rice
