This video is dedicated to one of the most scenic rivers in Finland — Kokemäenjoki. However, it's not about the main riverbed, but rather a small side channel located near the city of Pori. Kokemäenjoki is one of the largest rivers in the country, originating from Lake Lappajärvi and flowing through several regions before reaching the Bothnian Sea. Its waters are calm and clear, and the riverbanks are lined with dense forests that become especially beautiful in autumn, when the trees turn vibrant shades of yellow, orange, and red.
In this video, I’m kayaking along this picturesque river, enjoying the peaceful autumn landscapes and the quietness of nature. The route passes near the town of Ulvila — a small, cozy Finnish town with a rich history, located just next to Pori. The camera captures not only the kayaking journey but also the incredible scenery along the way — reflections of trees on the water, falling leaves, clear skies, and the stillness of the river create an almost fairy-tale-like atmosphere.
