Описание: A quick look at how sea-floor spreading convey small to medium masses of lithosphere across ocean basins, known as accreted terranes or exotic terranes. As they push up against the edge of continents, they form a sedimentary wedges or suture (add) pieces of landmasses (like island arcs) to the edge of continents. California to Alaska have grown in size as a result of accretion.
