In this video you can see a small (but very cool :)) Dual Channel 24 LED VU level indicator meter.
It´s easy powered by 5V (max. 250mA, generally less than 100mA!) (how you can see, I´ve powered it by an USB Hub :))
The special thing about it is, that each of all 48 LEDs are RGB-LEDs (all of them MCU-controlled).
So you are able to play a couple of different and complex Audio-controlled Patterns.
The video shows a first, quick preview test, sorry for lack of quality :(...
To adjust the VU-Meter output values, there you´ll find two buttons on it (e.g for change the brightness, Inputlevel, Patternsequence and more).
The very inexpensive VU-indicator is available (and ready assembled!) for round about 7€ incl. shipping.
