AAFCO doesn’t distinguish between the different yeast “lysis” processes, but we know that process does make a difference. All Natural Biologics’ “hydrolyzed” yeast is produced with a more natural endogenous hydrolysis process known as Autolysis.
Autolysis uses the yeast cell’s own metabolic processes to break the cell wall from the inside using just temperature, pH, and salt. This natural process delivers larger particles of MOS and beta glucan that are more resistant to microbial digestion, enhancing their ability to bind pathogens effectively.
