Hi everyone! I'm Mes, and this is my first video experimenting with ambient and free improvisation.
The concept for this piece started with recording sounds from steel wool and a beaded bracelet into a sampler — you’ll see the process in the video — and then I built a loop and improvised some guitar over it.
In the background, you’ll also hear the sound of rain I recorded on my way home today, which added a nice touch to the atmosphere.
For the pedalboard, I used the Hotone Ampero II Stomp and the EHX 720 looper.
