Описание: Using the Real Book version of "Satin Doll", we create a bass line using mostly roots and thirds. If a chord lasts 4 beats, we'll play a full arpeggio. If the chord lasts only 2 beats, just use a root and a third. This is by no means the only way to navigate these chords; it is simply one option that is often VERY useful and interesting sounding. Remember that both major and minor thirds can be played on the same string as the root, or the next higher string. Carefully selecting which way can make some complicated passages much easier. The key to simplify this song is to realize it is mostly a IIm7 V7 (2-5) progression that cycles through several keys. All audio tracks are sequenced. Bassist is finger-syncing.
