We’ll show you how to change the air filter on your Yamaha Raider in this video from Partzilla.com

Some air filter changes are easy, some are hard, and some are kinda… in the middle. This Raider is not the hardest one we’ve seen, but it takes a little work. We’ll start by getting off the seat, and that’s so we can remove the fuel tank, and we’ll show you how to remove the fuel tank on your Raider.

Because the instrument cluster is on the tank on the Raider, we’ll need to get it removed before we tackle the tank. And a quick note: run your tank dry before you do this. Then you don’t have to drain fuel or handle a tank full of gas.

Getting the tank off is so we can get to the air box that contains the filter. We’ll remove a few screws to get the box open and then slide the old filter out and slide the new one in.

With the air filter replaced on our Raider, we’ll work backwards: close the air box, replace the fuel tank, and finally the instrument cluster, and the seat.
