Finally on the fish. We wanted to go out in search of some Stokvis / Hake but the fish had some other plans. On the way we spotted bird and fish activity so we decided to put a rapala in the water and trawl to see what all the fuzz was about.
We started of slow with some nice nice mackrel and the the fun started with some really nice nice bonitos.
The best part was we only had one coffee grinder onboard as we were going for hake and normally fish in 50m + water. The other reels on the deck were all KP reels and not ideal for trawling because it does not have a drag system on them
