We LOVE our new Sopka Wood cook stove! With this stove we are able to heat our home, cook our food, and, eventually, heat up water for domestic use!

As we continue to develop our homestead, transitioning from fossil fuels to renewable energy resources is high on our priority list. Using wood instead of propane, our current heat source, is a much more environmentally way of meeting out needs, and much cheaper as well since we cut and split all our own logs! Not only is processing firewood fun, but it's great exercise and 10/10 beats sitting behind a desk all day ;)
