Windows to the Sky | Up Up & Away Slimline Card Tutorial

Описание: In this cardmaking tutorial, I’m creating a cheerful and encouraging slimline window card using the Up Up & Away stamp and die sets by Pixi Dust Designs. This card is designed to celebrate growth, courage, and those moments when we choose to let our dreams fly.

I began by building a soft, cloud-filled sky using a cloud edge stencil and Distress Oxide inks on a slimline card base. Once the background was complete, I cut windows into the card front using a PinkFresh Studios slimline die. Instead of discarding the cut pieces, I inlaid the window sections back into the openings and adhered them to the back of the card with liquid adhesive, creating depth while keeping the design clean and cohesive.

The adorable critters from the Up Up & Away stamp set were ink embossed, die cut, and colored with Olo alcohol markers, bringing playful energy and warmth to the scene. All of the elements were then layered together to form a light, uplifting design that feels hopeful and full of possibility.

To finish the card, I added the sentiment “Let Your Dreams Fly” to the inside of the card, making it perfect for encouragement, celebration, or simply reminding someone that their dreams matter.
