Kingsong KS-S18 - Review after 500km

Today I am out on the Kingsong S18 EUC riding offroad trails and I am giving you some feedback of the first 500km with the wheel. I have had my first batch main board replaced as I had some water damage but the wheel was under warranty and the guys from Speedyfeet sorted out the faulty main board. After that I have had no real problems with the wheel. I am a fairly light rider and dont do super long rides but I do allot of trail riding where the wheel does get allot of shock action on the trail terrain.

Its only been great fun to ride this wheel and explore new trails around my area. Its been holding up very well. But its still early days and I will report back as I ride.

Positives of the Kingsong S18
Awesome design
Wheel size and tyre rolling performance
Adjustable suspension to fit to your riding conditions
Trolley handle that is easy to operate
Good range but not the best
Good speed but not the fastest
Light and agile
Pedals are high from the ground creating excellent clearance
Built in mudguard that really keeps the wheel and suspension area clear
I think its a super fun EUC and a trail destroying machine.

Not so positives of the Kingsong S18
Can take some time to adjust the setting for the suspension
Its a pain to take apart and work on
Needs better weather protection, this really goes out to all ewheels
I would like the option for a more offroad tyre like the Sherman as standard
More clearance between the tyre and the mudguard. This is more for UK muddy riding.
