Buyer beware: READ the DESCRIPTION! Zline 30" Gas with gas oven

Описание: If you're looking at Zline to purchase for your use as a gas range, feel free to watch the video and listen to what I have to say. We purchased our Zline range after doing a lot of research. It was delivered on 12/11/22.  I was out of town visiting my parents, so my husband installed it and let it sit until I got home so I could be the first to use it!

I arrived home on 12/19/22 and immediately contacted Zline about the strange venting system that was blowing hot air out the front of the oven, just underneath the knobs. I messaged them through social media on 12/21/2022 and asked about this. They said that's the way it was designed, to keep the controls cool. (I have since learned that they are reevaluating this design and will be issuing a new model.)

As you can see in the video, every time you light the oven, there's a loud bang. Apparently, on the bottom of the oven, there is a drip pan. It expands every time the heating element comes on and the gas lights. It also does a periodically throughout the cooking process. Rather frightening, no?

Then I noticed on their Instagram page that a recall had been issued for a high level of carbon monoxide emission from the gas oven. Everyone was asked to discontinue using the oven until the recall parts could be sent out. No one contacted me directly, from either Lowe's or Zline.

This is all within the first month of owning the range.  I asked Zline to give me an extended warranty, they declined. I went to Lowe's, ask them to help us.  The store manager said they would replace it with something else, send us home to do some research.  When we went back a few days later, they told us we had missed the 30-day return window.

So now we are STUCK with a lemon! I hope this helps anyone who is looking at this brand or model. We did a lot of research, thought we chose a good small company, and we are so disappointed.
