Hear deep, tight bass as I unbox and test the Kali WS-6.2 🫨 is this the best budget subwoofer ever?
In this ASMR unboxing video, I unpack the Kali Audio WS‑6.2 Dual 6.5‑inch Powered Subwoofer - a compact but powerful studio sub designed to add serious low-end to your setup.
Whether you’re producing music, mixing or just enjoying tracks, with up to 400W RMS (1,000W Peak), frequency response down to ~27 Hz (-10dB) and a dual horizontally-opposed driver design to minimize net vibration, cabinet resonance and rattling, this sub packs more punch than most (perhaps all?) subs in its' class.
I compare running just Yamaha HS8 monitors alone/only vs. HS8 + WS-6.2 to show how much deeper and fuller the bass gets. If you want tight, clean low-end - especially for 808s, sub-bass or electronic / bass-heavy music - this video shows whether the WS-6.2 delivers. Great for smaller studios, home setups or music-listening rooms craving sub bass.

Please check Erin’s (@ErinsAudioCorner) excellent review with Objective data via actual testing & measurements:
• $499 Subwoofer Shootout: Kali Audio WS-6.2...
Erin’s summary:
While not CEA Certified to 20Hz, at 25Hz-35Hz it has much more volume output, headroom & dynamics than the competition (as much as 10dB more output).
Also, much much less distortion artifacts than Yamaha HS8S.
(WS-6.2 is spec’d at lessthan2% System THD 90dB @ 1m)

There’s also tons of customer subjective reviews on various outlets/retailer-websites (Amazon, Sweetwater, Guitar Center, B&H, etc.). Some say it’s also better sounding than KEF subwoofers like the KC62 and KF92; and even sounds as good as 12” and 15” subwoofers (e.g.: HSU VTF-3 MK5 HP).
If you wanna hear this WS-6.2 subwoofer in action, here is my first Shorts video utilizing this sub:
