Описание: Some Bangladeshi defense news portal reporting that Bangladesh Navy already finalized Turkish Istanbul-class frigate (I-Class FFG) for the "High Performance Frigate Program"! Which is not correct entirely! BD Navy shortlisted three top contenders, Chinese CSOC, Italian Fincantieri and the Turkish STM for the multirole frigate building program.

Turkey and Italy are the two-top runner, China positioned at third due to some other factors! Under the "Bangladesh Navy Frigate Program" six multirole warships will be built at the Chittagong Dry Dock Limited being operated by the Navy! Total stated value of this program is about $2.5 billion. All the ships shall be built in Bangladesh!
