📈 Improvements compared to the published TAS

Needleman Glitch / BaconOmelette Skips

Needleman08 has found a glitch that will end the level early (    • Spiderman Vs Kingpin - Needleman Skip   ). With the help of BaconOmelette and Cypherin, they understood that grabbing a health potion on the frame Spiderman is dying (health at 0) will trigger that glitch. After that, BaconOmelette has found other instances in other levels where that glitch can be done.

That's why, you will see Spiderman taking deliberately some damages : to lower his health to one hit before death.

That way, many levels are finished earlier (seen on RTA runs).

At 00:58, Spiderman zips two times from the beginning of the level to the pipes (seen on RTA runs).

📝 Notes

Level 2 : This is a faster way to execute the Needleman Glitch (in RTA it's done on the up-right side of the level) but much more difficult because Venom has to be manipulated to come over the left side and there's not so much room for executing the skip.

Level 3 : The foot kicks against The Lizard are hurting more but are more cumbersome to correctly touching him with.

Level 4 : Here is an other difference with the RTA run, I managed to do a Needleman Glitch in this level. The one made in level 2 hasn't restore full health so the setup (loosing health) for the skip here was quick to do.

Level 5 : Like in level 2, it's an other way to execute a quicker Needleman Glitch but quite more difficult.

Level 8 : The nemesis here is dodging bullets !

💪 Possible improvements

Level 3 : The fight vs The Lizard could be a bit quicker (and I loose a couple of frames during the second left side balancing).

Level 6 : It would have been better to grab a web potion on the right side after the Needleman Glitch instead of taking care of the guard above, it will allow me to avoid a mini backtrack in level 8 (at 3:43).

Level 7 : I start attacking Venom with a web (instead of foot kick) to avoid him getting out of the floor but foot kicks afterward shows that it may not be necessary.
